This little painting was inspired by the mandarin's brightly coloured skin and leaves. Colours like that can only be found in the grocery store at this time of year.

I'm a Canadian artist, living in Burlington, Ontario. I'm inspired by the things I see day to day in my kitchen, my backyard, around my house and in my studio. There is 'everyday beauty' everywhere. I paint with oils, a brush and a splash of imagination.
